How Do I Contact Style and the city?
If you have a question that is not answered on our site you can send an email to Styleand.thecity@ntlworld.com In the unlikely event of Style and the city vintage boutique is unable to satisfy your request immediately, Style and the city will endeavour to respond as soon as the issue has been thoroughly investigated.
Can I Return My Purchases If I Am Unhappy With Them?
Before returning any goods to us for whatever reason, it is important and essential that you send an email to Styleand.thecity@ntlworld.com to inform us of your intention. All goods must be returned to Style and the city undamaged and unused, within 14 days (including weekends and bank holidays) of the date stated on the receipt sent with the purchased item(s). The full cost of the item will be refunded to you when we have received the returned goods in the condition in which they were originally sold by Style and the city.
We keep extensive photographic records of all items available for sale and will not be held accountable for any damage occurring after delivery of the purchased item(s). *No refund will be offered in cases where loss, damage or delay is due to an incorrect delivery address being given at the time of purchase*

Style and the city aims to be as accurate as possible when listing all measurements. Actual sizes listed on garments labels often due not reflect the true modern equivalent. Each item is individually assessed and full measurements are clearly stated in the item description. How Do I Know What Is In Stock? All items shown are in stock unless the words "Sold" appear on the product pages.
Please be aware that even if the product is in your shopping bag it isn't reserved and can be bought by another customer while you are browsing.
How Do I Make A Purchase?
Making a purchase is easy. Just follow these simple steps: Shop by browsing through our online clothing categories. Click on the image or details to access the individual item's product page where you will be given further information on the item and exact measurements to assist with sizing. Add merchandise to your shopping bag by clicking on the Purchase Item' button near the desired item. Review the items you have chosen in your shopping bag by clicking the 'Shopping Cart' link at the top of the page.
To delete an item from your shopping bag, click on the 'Remove' button.
To resume shopping after viewing your shopping bag, click the 'Keep Shopping' button. Please be aware that when the item is in your shopping bag another customer can still purchase it.
Proceed to purchase to finalise your purchases and follow the instructions.

Is It Safe To Use My Credit Card Online At Style and the city?

How Will I Know You Received My Order?
After you place your order, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received. This does not mean your order has been accepted by us. Once your credit card has been approved, the receiving address has been verified, and the item has been located, your order will be accepted and the item shipped.
You will receive another e-mail notifying you if any of the items you ordered are not in stock; if this occurs your credit card account will only be charged with the cost of the items in stock.
What If I Live In A Country That Style and the city Does Not Ship To?

UK customers will be sent purchases via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
International customers will be sent purchases via Royal Mail International Signed For.
Almost no matter where you are, we can ship products to you - it is just a case of DDP or DDU, , sales taxes and shipping costs. We are able to ship to the following countries on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis. This means all Import Duties / Customs Taxes and local Sales taxes are calculated and included within the purchase price.

We are also able to ship to many other countries on a DDU basis (Delivery Duty Unpaid). This means the recipient will be liable for any local sales taxes or import duties which may be charged on the purchase. Due to shipping restrictions, unless there is a reception agent present at the PO Box during business hours, customers with PO Boxes will need to arrange for an alternate physical delivery address. You must provide us with an address where our delivery service can get a signature upon delivery of your shipment.
Does Style and the city Ship To Multiple Addresses?
During the checkout process, you will be asked to select the shipping address for your order. At this time, you can ship your online order to only one location. We realize that your order may include gifts that require shipping to several different locations. To do this you will be required to place separate orders for each address you wish to ship to.

How Soon Can I Get My Order?
We offer delivery to more than 100 countries around the world as indicated on the order form. We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 48 hours, however, please allow up to 7 working days for delivery as external factors may cause delays.
Additional transit time for international packages is approximately within four working days to Western Europe, five working days to Eastern Europe and six working days for the rest of the world.
Your order will be shipped once:
i) Payment has been approved.
ii) The delivery/billing address has been verified. In calculating when your order will arrive, start with the day in which both these prerequisites have been met and count only business days thereafter.
How Can I Track My Order?
You can check the current status of your shipment by emailing styleand.thecity@ntlworld.com with your order number obtained from your confirmation email and we will track your shipment for you.
Style and the city will store a record of your transactions for a minimum of one year.
Please note that for your security only a record of your transaction is kept on the Style and the city website; your credit card details are not held on the website.

In order to register as a user at Style and the city we will need to know your name, mailing address and email address.
In order to process credit card orders online, we will also need information including your billing address, shipping address, telephone number, credit card number and expirations date.

Please note that Style and the city does not keep your credit card details on the Style and the city, and these details are therefore protected from any breach of security at the Style and the city website. We may also use information we collect to inform you of new goods and services via emails.

Is My Package Insured?
Style and the city has arranged that all merchandise in transit from Style and the city to the delivery address be insured against theft and accidental damage at no cost to the customer.
Once the merchandise has been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, the merchandise is no longer covered by insurance.
How Are Duties And Taxes Calculated?
Prices on the website are shown inclusive of UK VAT unless an alternative currency has been selected by the customer, as indicated in the top right corner of the website If you are shipping to a destination outside the Eurozone, import duty may be levied by the country to which you are shipping.
